Founded in 1887 as a university associated with the Roman Catholic church and Benedictine Order, Benedictine University values both the liberal arts education and career-focused preparation. The school is located in Lisle, IL, approximately 25 miles north of Chicago. Benedictine is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) and has been ranked by U.S. News and World Report for its Master's programs and campus diversity.

Online MBA degrees are offered with specializations in Finance, Marketing, International Business, Health Administration, and Entrepreneurship and Managing Innovation. The Master of Public Health degree offers two concentrations in Administration of Health Care Institutions and Disaster Management, and ambitious students can choose to complete a Dual MBA/MPH degree to make them more marketable and eligible for competitive careers.
