Regis University is committed to providing quality education to men and women of all ages in the local community and around the world. The school wants to provide value-centered education with effective teaching and a dedication to community service so that students will emerge able to think critically, adhere to values, and be socially responsible.
Based in Denver, Colorado, Regis University is comprised by three colleges: Regis College, the Rueckert-Hartman School for Health Professions and the School for Professional Studies. Regis University was first established in 1884 in Las Vegas, New Mexico, by a group of exiled Italian Jesuits and was called Sacred Heart College. The school has since changed locations, and now it’s main campus is in Denver Regis also has several other locations in the Colorado cities of Aurora, Longmont, Colorado Springs, Greenwood Village, Fort Collins and Broomfield, as well as campuses located in Summerlin and Henderson, Nevada.
Regis University is a great place for students to work towards their Master’s degrees. The school was ranked as one of the best graduate schools in the West by U.S. News & World Report. Students will get the chance to learn from professors who have won many awards including the Fulbright and Clare Boothe Luce professorships. When students aren’t busy with classes they can enjoy the school’s award-winning arboretum or participate in extracurricular activities like debate club and community service projects.
The Regis University College for Professional Studies offers adults the chance to take classes online to help them advance in careers or transition into new ones. The faculty teaching online courses are well-qualified, and coursework will blend theory and practice to ensure students are up-to-date on the most current information in their fields. Online degree programs are offered at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and certification levels in fields like Accounting, Education and Software Engineering.
