Stevens-Henager College Program Review
Stevens-Heneger College designs its programs of study to reflect the ever-changing requirements of the business and medical fields and to ensure that students will be properly prepared to enter the competitive job market. In order to do this, the school works with leaders in these fields to design the curriculum used in the programs so that students will receive a cutting-edge and relevant education.
J.A. Smith founded Stevens-Henager in 1891 to educate students in the fields of business so that they could more easily find employment and meet the needs of the business market. Over the years, the school has undergone many changes but by 1959 had its present name and Ogden, Utah, location. Students can attend classes at the main campus in Ogden or at branches in Provo, Salt Lake City, Logan, and Boise, Idaho. For those unable to reach these locations, there is also an online campus.
Students at Stevens-Henager will enjoy some of the better known programs at the school which will give them the skills they need to be successful professionals and students. Stevens-Henager’s programs in Business and Medical Education are perhaps what it is best known for, and two of the things that the school has specialized in since it began. When students are nearing graduation they can take advantage of job placement assistance programs which will help them find opportunities, create a resume and present themselves at an interview.
Online programs at Stevens-Henager go on all year, so students can enroll and start learning anytime they like. Many of these programs work at an accelerated pace so that students can complete their degrees months earlier than they would be able to otherwise. Students can work towards Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees online in fields like Nursing, Surgical Technology, Graphic Arts, Computer Science and much more.
