Stratford Career Institute Program Review
Stratford Career Institute wants to provide a diverse group of students with the tools, resources and experiences they need to get an education and build the career skills they’ll need to work in their chosen field. Programs are based on distance learning and independent study, requiring students to take charge of their own educational goals and success. The school designs programs to be career-focused and to allow students to more readily achieve their personal and professional goals.
Stratford Career Institute is based out of Montreal, Canada, but U.S. students can attend on-campus courses in Washington, D.C. and St. Albans, Vermont. The school was established in 1991 and was created to give working adults the resources they needed to gain additional career certification. Students should be aware that Stratford does not award traditional degrees, but that the school can help them to get career training and practical certifications.
Programs at Stratford are designed with the working adult in mind and focus on improving career performance and giving students the chance to advance through education. Training programs can allow those who are looking for a career change or an opportunity to take their careers to a new level to do so, easily and with the assistance of SCI’s staff.
Best of all, students don’t even have to leave home to get these educational resources. Students will simply enroll in the program of their choice, and SCI will provide them with the materials and online instruction they need to complete the program. Support services are available both for academically oriented questions and for technical assistance. Students will work using the online platform to access a majority of their classroom materials, to talk to instructors, to take tests and ultimately to see their grades. Programs are available in fields like Floral Design, PC Repair, English as a Second Language and much more.
