University of Toledo Program Review
The University of Toledo is committed to creating an educational atmosphere that encourages students in their learning, research and academic experience. In 1872, the University of Toledo was founded and was intended to be a school to teach local students how to paint and make architectural drawings. Today the school is no longer just a trade school and offers a much wider range of degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. As the name suggests, the school calls Toledo, Ohio, home. Students can attend courses on this campus or through the growing online program.
The University of Toledo can offer students many top rated academic programs, especially for students entering the fields of Engineering, Occupational Therapy, and Medicine, in which the school has particularly well-regarded programs. Many students of at the university have gone on to win prestigious awards like the Fulbright and the Woodrow Wilson, and students enrolled with the university will have access to the same resources to work towards these awards.
For those outside of Ohio, or who just require a different learning format, online classes can be a great way to get ahead in a career. Students will get their coursework delivered through an online platform and listen to lectures, chat with classmates and turn in assignments as well. Additionally, students will get support in their programs from advisors and faculty, have use of an online library, and 24/7 tech support if and when they need it. Degree programs are available in a variety of levels and majors and include Programming, Accounting Technology, Nursing, Engineering and Liberal Studies.
