- B.A. in Mathematics (5-9 or 5-12) - The Western Governors University Online B.A. in Mathematics (5-9 or 9-12) program is designed to teach students mathematical skills related to algebra, geometry, calculus and statistics. Students who take this NCATE accredited program can expect to use their skills and supervised practice teaching experience to pursue a career teaching math at the junior high or high school level. The Online B.A. in Mathematics (5-9 or 9-12) program consists of 120-credit hours or 127-credit hours, depending on whether the 5-9 or 5-12 option is chosen.
