Franklin Pierce University Program Review
Franklin Pierce University aims to create a supportive and secure learning environment for its students that provides them with high quality programs, faculty and academic advisors. The school wants to create graduates that can go on to enjoy personal and professional success while contributing positively to their communities.
Named after the 14th President, the school was founded in 1962, though many buildings on campus are much older and some are even thought to have been parts of the Underground Railroad. The scenic campus in Rindge, New Hampshire, is home to thousands of students and many more enjoy taking classes at the school’s other locations around the state in Concord, Keene, Lebanon, Manchester, and Portsmouth, as well as an online campus.
While Franklin Pierce offers students a wide range of high quality educational programs, it is particularly well-known for those in communications. Students in this field of study will not only take well-regarded courses, but will also have access to a school-run newspaper, radio station, TV station and other publications that will give them a chance to gain valuable skills in marketing and broadcasting.
The distance learning programs at Franklin Pierce are designed to allow those who are working and attending school to more easily manage the two. Students can take courses that are entirely online or can choose to make occasional on-campus visits. There are degree programs offered at both the graduate and undergraduate levels which can allow students to get a leg up in fields like Leadership, Human Resource Management, IT Management and Business Administration.
