Franklin University Program Review
Franklin University is committed to meeting the needs of adult students by creating flexible educational programs that allow them to attend classes without sacrificing the things that are most important to them. The school works with those in the local business and professional community to create courses and provide students with career opportunities to help them be successful upon graduation.
Franklin was established in 1902 as the School of Commerce with the help of YMCA program. By 1969, the school had changed both locations and names and was established at its present Columbus, Ohio, campus. Franklin students can now enjoy a large campus in Columbus as well as three other smaller campuses in Ohio in the cities of Dublin, Westerville and Delaware. In order to allow students who cannot make it to any of the learning centers to attend classes, Franklin established an online program as well.
Those who want to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies in business will be well served by the opportunities available at Franklin. Students can attend on campus courses towards a degree or work towards a Vantage MBA degree while working entirely online. The program is one of the largest and most respected MBA programs in central Ohio, allowing students who are busy to boost their earning potential and career advancement in their free time.
Online courses with Franklin provide students with everything they need to be successful academically. Students can access books, faculty, other students and student advisors through the Web-based educational platform, allowing them to get what they need quickly, conveniently and consistently. With the exception of the MBA program, all degrees offered online by Franklin are at the undergraduate level. Students can major in fields like Accounting, Web Development and Marketing.
